Fauchon boulangerie

The new Fauchon boulangerie is my new favourite boulangerie in Paris. Its been a long time I’ve been waiting for a place that doesn’t limit itself with  “jambon- beurre” sandwiches and boring  “tarte aux fraises” cakes.  And Fauchon has done it… Recently they have opened a contemporary boulangerie ( on the ground floor of their location in place de la Madeleine) that sells the most delicious and fresh salads, sandwiches, soups and cakes…

In fact, the salad with shrimps and mango is almost the same as they used to serve in the Fauchon restaurant upstairs. (Did they close it for good? It was my favourite place for brunch in Paris.) Just the lobster was replaced by shrimps (doesn’t make such a big difference in taste) and it costs three times less. The “Club-Cake”  is also very good. One of the chicest fast food in Paris… If you can call it that way…
