When i opened the menu of La Régalde( 49 av. Jean Moulin, 75014, tel. 01 45 45 68 58 ), i became "greedy" instantly. I wanted to try everything there! Yes, i was very hungry, but also the dishes listed looked so good that only reading their names,I had a promise of a gastronomic paradise.
Despite of it's remoteness, i've been in avenue Jean Moulin plenty of times.Pin Up, the biggest fashion studio in Paris is located there. But who could have thought that just few blocks away from the place were the "beauty" is created, there is the perfect example of gastonomic bistrot.

Ever since I started living my passion for gastronomy , I’ve fantasised to try the haute cuisine of the countries I travel. I will repeat myself again- I love French cuisine haut cuisine but I also find disappointing that most of top restaurants in the world reflect the French cooking and products rather than the local eating traditions. I more than agree with the philosophy of Carlo Petrini, the founder of Slow Food movement – eating local products prepared according to local traditions is the best. More than that - I think it is the future.
I didn’t know much about Ristorante Cracco before my dinner there this week. Only that it was in the “World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2008” list. In fact, knowing the doubtful objectivity of this list, I didn’t expect a lot from Cracco...

As you might have noticed, it's been a while i haven't wrote a post. In fact so long, that i have started feeling guilty about that. But what made me really to log in to my typepad account (where i see there are some nice changes in the interface by the way) is the two overrated restaurants I've been recently in Paris.
First is the newly starred Il Vino D'Enrico Bernardo (13, Boulevard de la Tour Maubourg, 75007, tel.01 44 11 72 00).
