The Rough Diamond in Provence

Auberge La Fenière is one-star Michelin restaurant where the food is as creative as in three stars Michelin. It is hidden in a small village in Lourmarin (one hour drive from Marseille). What is wonderful about the menu is that it is the mixture of local Provencal tastes(like ice cream of “calissons”) and the modern, international cuisine (the oyster’s ceviche).

The service is not that worked out (but pleasant) as in the restaurants of this level, but it is just a small detail that is not that important after all.
