After moving to Upper West Side, I discovered some great restaurants, Gari, for example (which is on Columbus Av. , between 78 and 77 street). Gari is the younger sister of another restaurant, Sushi of Gari, which is on the East Side, and, in my opinion, has one of the best quality/price ratio in Manhattan. Moreover, the service is very attentive. 

P.S. If you want regular sushi, don’t forget to ask for the  regular sushi menu as  on the main menu they write only the chef’s specials  (sushi with various ingredients).
