My favourite places in Megève, France

Anything by Emmanuel Renaut, whether his 3 Michelin starred restaurant Flocons de Sel, gourmet shop Le Garde Manger or the bistro in the village Flocons Village. Jerusalem artichoke “cake” with truffles at Flocons de Sel in the video.

Skiing with the best view of Mont-Blanc.

Excellent Alpine cooking at Le Relais Mont-Blanc by Les Fermes de Marie. Traditional “Farcement Savoyard” in the picture is made with potatoes, bacon and dried fruits. Here it was served with “diots de Savoie” sausages. Loved it!

Lunch in front of Mont-Blanc at the family owned Refuge de Porcherey, which offers one menu to everybody. The slowly cooked veal with polenta as well as the blueberry tart was amazing.

Crêpes at Chez Olivia. Classic!

Fondue at Alpage de Pré Rosset.

Delicious Italian cooking at the very charming family owned Chalet Lupo, who imports most of their ingredients from Italy. Taglioni with bottarga in the picture. Piedmontese veal cotoletta was excellent too.
