Good afternoon!

As the winter months close in around us and the lights of the festive season awaken the magic of the frosty season, we take a look back on the incredible food tour we took this year and give you an opportunity to sign up for our first 2023 events en avant-premiere. With the deep aromatic savours still fresh in the air from the white truffles tour of Alba in November 2022, we are now opening select booking for the first of our 2023 events. Next year we’ll be exploring with the gastronomy temples in the Basque region, full of regional delights and hard-to-find (and even harder to book) restaurants and taking pasta to the next level with a “tour de force” tour in Bologna as well as celebrating Bouillabaisse with a Marseille discovery tour to open the summer months.

Finally, we are taking last orders for the Christmas edition Luxeat Artisans’ box.

A most joyous festive season to all.

Love,

Aiste

Basque gastronomy temples

MARCH 23 – 26

Pintxos crawl and visits to the most difficult-to-book gastronomy temples in the Basque region.

Basque cooking holds a reputation for being one of the best cuisines in the world, Meca for foodies, who respect and adore the quality of local products and their simple preparation, not forgetting the roots of traditions.

Tortellini

A pasta “tour de force” in Bologna and its region

MAY 11 – 14

Follow a trail of the most important trattorias around Bologna, learn how to make tortellini at the legendary institution, taste exceptional Italian vintage wines, regional produce and much more.

This June, Luxeat brings a chance to get into the belly of Italy – the gastronomic region of Emilia Romagna – with a three day culinary extravaganza. The city of Bologna is known as La Grassa, the culinary capital of Italy and home to many of its most famous dishes. Above all, it is known worldwide for tortellini, the delicate hand-rolled pasta parcels made by “nonne” in the same way for generations. The trip will showcase the best of what this part of Italy has to offer.

Bouillabaisse feast in Provence

JUNE 10 – 12

A party to welcome in the summer months and celebrate bouillabaisse with an exceptional feast at a private villa in Aix en Provence,  accompanied by a foodie tour to the most important culinary spots in Marseille.

A tour dedicated to Provencial cuisine, highlighting one of Luxeat’s favourite dishes—Bouillabaisse—the authentic Provencal fish stew made of Mediterranean seafood, tomatoes, herbs and saffron, which has become both expensive and almost extinct in the region.

Truffles

Alba Truffle Celebration

In the fresh November air, we took a select group on an immersive journey to uncover the secrets of one of  Italy’s most sought-after gastronomic experiences: The Alba Truffle.

During a unique three-day adventure our group of culinary explorers, we got close and personal with one of the world’s most exclusive foods. From truffle-match discoveries at legendary local wineries to joining in a traditional truffle hunt and lunch in the warm company of one of the region’s most highly recognized truffle families, the experience was as exquisite and warm hearted as the delicacy we were there to uncover.
