Erbprinz is an excellent one-star Michelin restaurant in Ettlingen, Germany, 70 km from Strasbourg. Its long time ago I wanted to try the German gastronomic cuisine and I was very pleased by the creativity of the food. The Erbprinz hotel (5 stars) and restaurant is known for hosting famous German people, like, for example,  Angela Merkel who dined there.

During the summertime, the restaurant serves in the garden which is very nice. I would particularly suggest the cassoulet of borlotti beans, baby calamari and salami bread salad. The dish is a well-thought marriage of the traditional German and Mediterranean flavours.
