Good burger at Café Trama

Bburrata with various tomatoes

My favourite burger from Le Camion qui fume food truck, driving around Paris, has some serious competition. The burger at the recently opened, simple and affordable Café Trama  (83 Rue du Cherche-Midi, 75006 Paris; tel. +331 45 48 33 71) is served only on Saturdays and I, unfortunately, forgot to take its picture, but it’s so juicy and delicious I can’t wait to go back.

The Jean-Luc Poujauran bread is generously sprinkled with sesame, the beef comes from the famous Desnoyer butchery and the perfectly melted Cheddar cheese makes everything so good, it seems all these excellent ingredients belong together. Even if the decor of Café Trama is overly simple and the room is slightly too cramped, the wonderful ingredients compensate the cantine like surroundings. Like this burrata with various tomatoes in the image above. ( Also a very good croque-monsieur with truffle salt..)
