Shang Palace at Shangri-la is the newest hotel restaurant opening in Paris. (opened on the 8th of September). You don't really have great Cantonese restaurants in the city and Shang Palace is by far the best of all the Chinese i've been in Paris. However, if you've had Cantonese specialities in China, you will be disappointed. I found most of the dishes (except for the crispy suckling pig) at Shang Palace good, but not great.
Traditionally, for lunch you can have dim sum.
Crab meat dumpling in superior clear soup
Red rice flour rolls with shrimps
Dishes from à la carte lunch and dinner menu (i've been to Shang Palace twice)
Crispy suckling pig ( very good )
Barbecued pork with honey sauce ( Had much better elsewhere. It seemed that the pork was "boiled" , not "barbecued" )
Pan fried cod fish filet with superior soya sauce (tasted bland)
Stir fried crab meat and crab coral with scrambled egg white (interesting )
Aubergine
